Jonathan Hollander
Jonathan Hollander has over 12 years of investment and corporate operations experience including investment banking, private equity/VC, distressed debt and public equity. He has personally invested and consulted to various private businesses leading to IPOs, strategic sales and further corproate growth. Mr. Hollander founded Chesapeake after spending nearly four years with SAC Capital’s CR Intrinsic Investors subsidiary. While at Intrinsic, Jonathan focused on natural resources, REITs, physical commodity and private equity investments.
Additionally, Jonathan worked with Citicorp Venture Capital as a Private Equity Associate where he focused on leveraged buyouts and portfolio management in the technology and industrial sectors. Prior to CVC, Jonathan was an Analyst in the Leveraged Finance Group at CSFB where he assisted private equity and corporate clients in high yield, leveraged loan and leveraged buyouts.
Jonathan earned his MBA from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business and graduated magna cum laude from Tufts University with a BS in Engineering, a BS in Environmental Studies and Minor in Engineering Management. Additionally, Jonathan completed numerous study abroad programs in Israel, France, Spain and Cuba and worked as a summer associate with Goldman Sachs' Asian Special Situations Group in Hong Kong.
Jonathan volunteers with HarlemRBI where he has been a baseball coach for 6 years and with Innovation Africa where he sits on the Advisory Board.
